MEdical Tower
The new patient tower at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is now open, offering patients the most advanced treatments and technology in a healing and comfortable environment.
The eight-story North Tower, which adds 144 beds and 32 new operating rooms, is the largest hospital expansion project in Oklahoma history and one of the largest in the nation. The new facility reflects the ongoing transformation of Oklahoma's flagship comprehensive academic health system and its mission to provide the services that Oklahomans need to achieve health.
The North Tower features private patient rooms with large windows, flat-screen TVs, and comfortable seating. The rooms are also equipped with the latest medical technology, including electronic health records and bedside monitors.
The North Tower also includes a new emergency department, a cancer center, and a heart center. These facilities will provide patients with access to the latest treatments and technologies for a wide range of medical conditions.
The opening of the North Tower is a significant milestone for OU Health and for the state of Oklahoma. The new facility will help to ensure that Oklahomans have access to the high-quality healthcare that they need and deserve.
